Rev. Toby Sanders, M.Div., Ph.D. Candidate
Does religion belong in politics? Does the church have a responsibility to be politically active? Should the church tell people how to cast their vote? Some Christians believe the Gospel is apolitical; some, the church has been politicized enough. Still others think the church is not involved enough. What does God have to say about getting involved in politics?
The Gospel on Providence
Rev. Cleotha Robertson, Ph.D.
How do we balance our understanding of human freedom with the providence of God, God’s will being worked out in human history? Are we really free or is everything predetermined? If God has determined all things, why do we need to do anything? How does providence work?
